Huge Thanks, My first jam experience, and The future of Accismus.

It's the last day of voting, I wanted to write a devlog earlier, but this week was a really crazy experience and I finally got to writing this thing right now.

Thank you everyone who played, commented, streamed and rated Accismus. it is my first game jam ever, and seeing such positive feedback to my first ever entry was very heartwarming. Right now 9 hours before voting ends, Accismus stands at 36 ratings, I'm hoping for the best but I'm prepared for the worst. At first I didn't think about going any further with the project post Jam, but the very positive reception and great feedback on what to change is making me consider atleast doing a Post-Jam update with the feedback taken into consideration, and maybe releasing the full game in near future, but what will happen is still a mystery even to me.

This Jam was a great experience and oportunity. Initially I forgot that I signed up for this jam, I never had enough confidence to try something like this. My sign up for this one was something like "whatever, it's online I can just drop out if it will go bad" and I wasn't in the best mental state at the time in the middle of raging pandemic and so on. When I got an e-mail that said the Jam is 4 weeks away I got reminded that I signed up and started thinking seriously about participating. When the Jam was 1 week away I just played around with UE4 doing different projects, trying to find new things that I didn't previously know about. I even made a simple twin stick shooter in about 10h just to see if I am able of making a game in short time, watched a lot of videos mostly from Jonas Tyroller and Brackeys to get a better grasp on how Game Jam works - so shoutout and huge thanks to you guys! I know that Jonas is taking part in this jam too, so good luck mate!
On friday it was my last trip outside to get some groceries, and oh boy I bought not enough things for 48 hours :D My best buy was one fresh green cucumber that I used slices of to treat my red, sore eyes - big recomendation from me to all the jam devs!
I planned out what to do on each day, and mostly was able to keep the schedule on point, but sadly I trashed the first idea for the game when I woke up on saturday so I've lost some time because of that. It was really hard to sleep, even though my body was exhausted my mind was still thinking about everything jam-connected so I got 5, maybe 6 hours of real sleep in the total 48 time span.
After the game was finished and submitted I felt proud and relieved... for about 5 minutes, because I noticed that some of my mechanics don't work in browser, the game also looks trash in browser and that my game has no ending screen :P So I tried to fix everything ASAP with mixed results.
I've rated 102 games, exchanged a lot of feedback with other devs and engaged in discissions on the GMTK Discord it was just a great, although stressful week. I just couldn't stop thinking about the jam. I've learnt a lot of things for the future, both in terms of taking part in a jam and game design overall. I also got much needed in my case boost of self-confidence so thank you for that!

Tl;dr version:
- Thanks everyone!
- There probbably will be a post-jam update to Accismus and I'm considering the full release.
- Participating in this jam wasn't easy but it was really great and worth every second that I spent on it.

Thank you to everyone who made this Jam as awesome as it was, and hope to see you all in GMTK Game Jam 2021!.
