Known issues:
Bugs:
- "Lighting needs to be rebuilt"
- Fast Roll checkbox can't be used
- For unknown reason sometimes player might get only 5 dice instead of 6 at the begining of the turn. With some bad luck (getting skulls on all visible dice and other symbol on the one missing) this unfortunately can lead into softlock and needs a full game restart. Sorry for that :(
- Fortune's Smile special ability doesn't progress the turn when used
- Enemy AI tends to shoot into the walls (especially enemies in level 3 "Mines")
- One cover in Level 1 doesn't have any visual representation apart from highlight when holding "C"
- Cover in Level 2 is visually obstructing the view of the tile which makes it hard to aim
- Multishot only displays one bullet trail (but does damage corectly to all enemies hit)
- Free Movement mode doesn't let you move in all 8 directions, but limits you to 4
- Sometimes the tile you're aiming at isn't the same as the one you have your cursor on
- Objects clipping into each other a lot
- Somtimes enemies will stand between 2 tiles which makes it harder to judge which tile you should attack.
- Difficulty is way off because the player doesn't get any upgrades, while enemies get tougher.
- Placeholder objects are visible on level 2
- Out of map area can be viewed on full zoom out
- And many, many more...
Unfinished Features:
- Story is not implemented at all
- There are no bonuses that were supposed to be given to the player after each level
- Amount of dice to amount of actions conversion is not shown properly
- Tiles that you can go to aren't highlighted
Thank You for playing the game. Hope You enjoyed it despite all of it's many flaws.
I want You to get something good in return so I will give You a handy advice:
Don't underestimate pre-production even in a game jam. All of the issues highlighted above could be avoided with good planning.
See You all in 2023
